Whidbey Island

march

Much like the sprouts coming out the ground, we are ready to get back out into the world! Hope to catch you somewhere along the way….

If you’re pondering your stance on the many complicated issues of the day, don’t miss Michael Schur at Seattle Arts & Lectures March 4th for fresh, funny and inspiring wisdom on tough topics.

So much great art to see this month, like the latest the Food Art Collection opening March 10th - probably Seattle’s only food themed art gallery in an apartment. ;)

If you haven’t yet discovered AMcE Creative Arts on Capitol Hill, head over pronto to see the current exhibit from artist Soo Hong, download its accompanying playlist and peruse the Niche Market for treasures.

Get your tickets! It’s time to sing, dance and laugh again. Don’t miss out on this summer’s Thing Festival, John Mulaney’s stand up, or Brandi Carlisle at the Gorge.

Speaking of dance - Alvin Ailey returns! Outrageous beauty and talent awaits March 26th and 27th.

Take a day trip… catch the daffodil fields in the Skagit Valley or an early ferry over to Whidbey Island for breakfast at the new Sea Biscuit Bakery (outrageously good), play with your pooch at Double Bluff Beach, hike at Ebey’s Landing, grab a late lunch at Langley Kitchen and a ferry back home for dinner.

welcome spring!
