Fortunate Orchard

spring has sprung

As we await being fully vaccinated, the natural world is already celebrating. The anticipation is irrepressible - this is going to be one hell of a summer! But until that day comes, we’ve rounded up some fun (and safe) outdoor adventures to be had…

Canoes are back! The UW Waterfront Activities Center is back with canoe rentals on weekends by appointment. Get on the water and let your worries float away.

Visit the Pacific Bonsai Museum for a dose of botanical beauty, history and wonder. Double up with visit to the Rhododendron species Botanical Garden right next door, in peak bloom into May.

May Day pop-up shop In the Shed May 1st Some of our favorite makers and shakers are coming together for a sunny sale outside. Pick up something sweet for mom from Shelli Markee, or treat yourself to a vintage treasure from Worn So Good or hand-thrown beauty from Karra Wise.

Pack your pod in the car and head to Marymoor Park for a drive-in movie! One word: Bueller? Bueller?

Museums are back (again) but we’re extra excited for Seattle’s Asian Art Museum’s grand re-opening on May 28th in Volunteer Park - book your appointment now!

Now that the sun is back (maybe?) - it’s a great time to skate! Join Roll Around Seatown for a groovy and fun workout.

Happy spring, adventure safely!
