Make your holiday correspondence extraordinary on a field trip to the letterpress studio.
In this immersive 3-hour workshop, field trippers will learn how to use a large Vandercook proof press, one of the most user-friendly presses to learn on. Class will cover how to hand set type and the basics of using photopolymer plates in letterpress printing. Guests will take a home a small set of 15 holiday cards (Solstice greeting? Thank you note? New year salutation? your choice!) of their own creation. No printmaking experience necessary. Class size is capped at four guests.
Grapheme is a small letterpress studio located in the Central District neighborhood of Seattle. Owner Mandolin Brassaw's mission is to encourage others towards greater creativity, purposefulness, and a love of learning.

Payments for field trips and classes are non-refundable, though they may be transferred to another person (your new best friend!). ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
