We Are All Made of Light by Maja Petric at Mad Art - this immersive exhibit of light an interconnectedness closes December 1st! Located in the heart of South Lake Union, this is a perfect lunch field trip for the downtown crowd to add some magic to the work day.

Pop-up holiday shopping, every weekend in December from Urban Craft Uprising, the King Street Makers Market to our personal fave at In the Shed - these unique sales are infinitely more interesting than the shopping mall or Amazon. The Field Trip Society will be partnering with Ben’s Breads and other local makers on December 16th at Southpaw for an afternoon market featuring culinary and entertaining gifts for the season, along with the best cookie exchange in the city. Equinox Holiday Open House December 8th art, music, poetry, dance, food trucks, demos and fire! Imagine all of your favorite artists throwing a party under one huge roof in Georgetown, anything could happen.

A Bonsai Solstice December 16th for those looking for a more peaceful and natural way to enjoy the season, the Pacific Bonsai Museum’s collection will be lit up with sparkling lights.

Holiday Hoot December 22nd at the Seward Park Audubon Center, start your evening with cocoa by the fireside while learning about the owls that call the Northwest home, then head out onto the trails to look for these nocturnal raptors!
