Nothing compares to a fresh from the oven, crusty loaf of sourdough bread...it is the pinnacle of comfort food.  If you've ever wanted to know how to make bread by hand, then look no further.  Ben Campbell, the head baker at Lark and owner of Ben's Breads, is going to lead the way to bread nirvana.  In this intimate class, Ben will take students through the entire bread-making process from the sourdough starter to kneading to proofing and baking.  We'll explore different flour varieties, how to use the starter for other recipes (waffles anyone?), and find inspiration for what do with leftover bread -- including a croque monsieur for lunch!

Field trippers will leave class with new-found knowledge, their own sourdough starter, proofing basket, and dough ready to bake at home.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best, and add "accomplished bread baker" to your bragging rights.

Ben Campbell is the owner of Ben's Bread and the head bread baker for the renowned restaurant, Lark.  His love of sourdough began at a young age with the hot buttered rolls served at Corky's BBQ in Memphis. When he isn't making bread, he likes to binge watch Cosmos with his hot wife and wing dog Louie.
