Your letters, gift tags, place cards and correspondence will never be the same after learning the craft of hand-lettering.

Field trippers will learn to use a pointed pen to develop a unique calligraphy script, from the ABC’s to flourishes and accents. Participants will take home a kit that includes a pen, inks, paper and guide sheets. Bonus: your completed design will be digitally scanned for use as a custom address stamp, personal greeting cards or whatever your heart desires (custom monogram anyone?).

Alaïa Giglio is a calligrapher and owner of Clay and Ink. She is a champion for snail mail and the art of the handwritten and heartfelt letter. She has taught workshops all over the world, most recently in Florence, Italy and the Methow Valley of Washington.
