Come play in the mud! If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at pottery, this is the field trip for you! Learn the basic techniques of hand-building with clay, using hand tools and fingers to create an object of beauty. Let your creativity flow … salt pots? a vase for summer blooms? a bookend? Functional or sculptural, let your hands be the guide.

Class creations will be fired and glazed (in Beau Rush signature colors) at the studio for pick-up or local delivery available to participants two weeks after class.

Please dress for mess.

This workshop is part of our Summer Solstice Day Camp - sign up for a morning of shibori or block-printing and we’ll provide a picnic lunch in between!

Brooklyn-based artist Cameron Bishop embraces the aesthetic of imperfection in ceramics for everyday functional use. Her simple, modern designs of Beau Rush Ceramics have graced the pages of Vogue, Domino and Bon Appetit.
