The silver lining to autumn rains is the bounty of fungi that flourish in the Pacific Northwest.  Whether you forage your own or buy wild mushrooms at your local farmers market, this dinner is sure to inspire expert and novice mycologists alike. 

At this educational dinner, writer and wild food enthusiast Langdon Cook will discuss autumn's most prolific Northwest fungi.  Guests will dine on a four-course meal complete with wine pairings at one of Columbia City's most beloved restaurants, La Medusa.

The price for this dinner includes a four-course meal with wine pairings, sales tax and gratuity.  

Langdon Cook is a writer, instructor, and lecturer on wild foods and the great outdoors.  HIs books include Upstream: Searching for Wild Salmon, from River to TableThe Mushroom Hunters:  On the Trail of an Underground America, winner of the 2014 Pacific Northwest Book Award, and Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager.   Cook has been profiled in Bon AppetitWSJ magazineNational Geographic Traveler, and Salon.com, and his writing appears in numerous magazines, newspapers, and on-line journals.
