The silver lining to autumnal rains is the bounty of fungi that flourish in the Pacific Northwest.  Whether you forage your own or buy wild mushrooms at your local farmers market, this dinner is sure to inspire expert and novice mycologists alike. 

At this educational dinner, writer and wild food enthusiast Langdon Cook will discuss autumn's most prolific Northwest fungi.  Guests will dine on a four-course meal prepared by James Beard award-winning chef John Sundstrom coupled with wine pairings at one of Seattle’s finest restaurants, Lark.

The price for this dinner includes dinner, tax and gratuity. Must be 21 years of age to attend.

Langdon Cook is a writer, instructor, and lecturer on wild foods and the great outdoors.  HIs books include Upstream: Searching for Wild Salmon, from River to TableThe Mushroom Hunters:  On the Trail of an Underground America (winner of the 2014 Pacific Northwest Book Award), and Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager.   Cook has been profiled in Bon AppetitWSJ magazineNational Geographic Traveler, and Salon.com, and his writing appears in numerous magazines, newspapers, and on-line journals.
