Come celebrate spring blooms and moms at this special breakfast and floral workshop at Lark on Capitol Hill!

We'll start the morning with a breakfast of house-made pastries and other treats while Hannah Morgan of Fortunate Orchard discusses seasonal blooms, the mechanics of floral design, and how to use color, form and texture to create a balanced arrangement.  After a brief demonstration, field trippers will have free reign with floral bounty. With a mix of cultivated flowers and wild foliage, we’ll create unique arrangements that reflect the beauty of spring in the Pacific Northwest.

Field trippers will go home with their own beautiful creation to grace their Mother's Day celebrations along with the skills to create botanical arrangements throughout the year.

Treat yourself, your mom, wife or friend to this delightful and delicious field trip!

Hannah Morgan is the owner of Fortunate Orchard, a floral design studio and cutting garden in South Seattle.  Hannah uses flowers and foliage grown in her garden and along the west coast to create arrangements that are always seasonal and a bit wild.  Her clients include Seattle restaurants, arts organizations and adventurous brides and grooms.
