In celebration of the return of the salmon and the release of Langdon Cook's newest book, Upstream: Searching for Wild Salmon from River to Table, the Field Trip Society will be hosting a salmon feast at La Medusa.

Join writer and wild food enthusiast Langdon Cook as he shares stories from his new book and discusses the iconic salmon's unique relationship to the Northwest -- at the intersection of nature, commerce, cuisine and human history.  

The price for this event includes a four-course dinner featuring Copper River salmon caught fresh and flown in from Alaska by Drifters Fish, select wine pairings, a signed copy of Langdon's new book and gratuity.  

Langdon Cook is a writer, instructor, and lecturer on wild foods and the great outdoors.  HIs books include Upstream: Searching for Wild Salmon from River to TableThe Mushroom Hunters:  On the Trail of an Underground America, winner of the 2014 Pacific Northwest Book Award, and Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager.   Cook has been profiled in Bon AppetitWSJ magazineWhole Living, and Salon.com, and his writing appears in numerous magazines, newspapers, and on-line journals.
